Joe Biden will travel to Florida later to assess at first hand the damage caused by Hurricane Milton.
The White House says the US President will visit the state tomorrow.
At least 17 people died when the Hurricane passed through – although the total number of deaths could rise as rescue workers make their way through floodwaters and debris.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said emergency crews are working around the clock to restore power.
