Met Eireann warn of cold weather setting in from Monday

Met Eireann’s issued a weather advisory for colder weather next week.

It says there will be significantly colder conditions from Monday, which will last through much of the week.

Frost and ice are likely, while there is the potential for sleet, snow and hail for some.

Showers will be most widespread in the north, and parts of the west.

The advisory has been issued due to the unusually mild start to November.
