The number of drug searches carried out in Donegal were down 13% last year.
New figures from the Minister for Justice show 404 drug searches were carried out in the county in 2024, down from 468 the previous year.
Across the country, 40% less drug searches were conducted.
The reduction is being linked to a growing decline in the number of Gardaí on the streets.
