There were a number of flight diversions at Dublin Airport this afternoon.
Strong cross winds meant some could not land, with nine diverted to Shannon and Birmingham.
A spokesperson says they are now returning to Dublin, as winds begin to ease this evening.
Passengers are being urged to check with their airlines for any possible delays.
