Institute and Limavady both suffered defeats in the NIFL Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Stute went down 1-0 at home to Newington with Rory Donnelly scoring the games only goal.
Meanwhile Limavady were beaten 3-0 at home to H&W Welders.
The results mean Stute are now eighth in the league with Limavady in third, six points off the leaders, Annagh.
