Row breaks out between Deputy Doherty and Taoiseach over plans for new bike shed at NMH

A row has broken out in the Dail between Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty and the Taoiseach over plans for a new bike shed at the National Maternity Hospital.

Sinn Féin is calling for the plans to be scrapped.

A tender has quoted a price of €100,000 for the project.

It comes a year after revelations about the Leinster House bike shed, which cost more than €300,000.

But Taoiseach Micheál Martin says the Government is not responsible for every single project undertaken:
