Voter turnout varied across Donegal

Voter turnout is varied across Donegal, with voters having until 10pm tonight to have their say in the Presidential election.

The highest turnout, according to the latest figures, is in the Donegal Local Electoral area at 25% with turnout dropping to as low as 8% in parts of West Donegal.

Voting on Arranmore Island closed at the earlier time of 5pm today while at Leabgarrow and Aphort National Schools voting will cease at 7pm due to weather conditions.
