The R262 road in Kilraine has reopened following a fatal crash.
A woman in her 80s was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle collision shortly before 4pm yesterday.
A man, also in his 80s, was taken to hospital for treatment to what Gardai say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardai are continuing to appeal for information.
