A woman in her 40s has received an injury in Dungannon in County Tyrone.
She sustained a serious leg injury inside a property in the Altmore Drive area of the town at around 11.30am yesterday morning.
The PSNI attended, and gave her first aid until colleagues from other emergency services arrived and she was taken to hospital.
Police later arrested a man in his 40s in the Armagh area on suspicion of attempted murder.
