The average age of mothers giving birth in Donegal in 2023 was 32.7, according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office.
The CSO released its Vital Statistics Annual Report 2023 today.
A total of 1,571 babies were born at Letterkenny University Hospital during the year.
Meanwhile, the standardised death rate in Donegal was 6.7 per 1,000 population.
