A Donegal TD says the process of processing and adjudicating on aquaculture licence applications must be speeded up.
Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn told a meeting of the Oireachtas Fisheries Committee that Ireland is not meeting its potential for aquaculture development.
He said one major problem is that partly because of objections, it’s taking too long for decisions to be made, and that must be addressed……….
