
A Donegal deputy has asked why the west of Ireland is treated as second-class citizens.
Deputy Pádraig MacLochlainn says that last week, a pyrite remediation scheme for Dublin was rightfully implemented for almost 3,000 families in Dublin whose homes were defective as a result.
The scheme offers 100% redress.
Deputy MacLochainn questioned the Taoiseach in the Dáil Chamber as to why the same has not been done for the Defective Concrete Block Grant Scheme:
