194 Gardaí and 17 Garda reserves were attested as sworn in members of An Garda Síochána today.
This new intake sees the number of sworn Gardaí rise to 14,481.
21 Gardaí and 5 Garda reserves will be allocated to the North Western Region which includes Donegal.
The members were recruited as part of the 2024 recruitment campaign.
Since recruitment recommenced in December 2022, 1,600 probationary Gardaí have been attested.
