
Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn has raised the issue of overfishing in the Dáil.
It is anticipated that Ireland will face cuts to its fishing quotas despite the widespread belief that the overfishing is being carried out by fishers from other states, particularly Norway and Iceland.
During questions to the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Deputy MacLochlainn said that Ireland must confront this injustice.
