Donegal Airport awarded €700,000 in government funding

The Government has announced €4 million in operational funding for Ireland’s regional airports, including Donegal.

Donegal Airport will receive €700,000 to support key services like air traffic control, fire safety, and security screening.

Minister Darragh O’Brien says this funding comes on top of €7.8 million in capital support already provided this year.

Passenger traffic across regional airports has risen by 11% compared with the same period last year.
