Five people in Donegal have been arrested on suspicion of drink driving offences and four arrested on suspicion of Drug driving, over the past week.
This comes as Gardaí carry out high visibility checkpoints, Mandatory Intoxicant Testing checkpoints, and patrols.
From the nine drivers, three had previously been disqualified.
Alongside this, 21 vehicles have been seized in the past week.
This was for various reasons including; such as no insurance, no tax and no NCT.
