Donegal shoppers spent the least on card transactions last Christmas, according to data from AIB.
The bank analysed customer spending for December 2024 and found that the average card spend in Donegal was €1,642, significantly lower than Wicklow, where shoppers spent €2,022 on average.
Across the country, the national average came in at €1,880.
