The League of Ireland has confirmed attendances in this year’s men’s Premier Division increased by eight percent.
Over 680-thousand fans came through the gates in the top flight this season – but there was a five percent drop in attendances at First Division fixtures.
There was a one percent increase in crowd figures for the Women’s Premier Division.
