An act of kindness could make a difference to people’s most vulnerable neighbours.
That’s the message this Christmas from Friends of the Elderly, which is calling on the public to support older people across the country who face spending the festive period alone.
The group is asking people to visit older relatives and neighbours, and is also encouraging older people who are lonely to contact them.
