
A homelessness charity has described comments made by the Tánaiste as ‘disappointing’.
It follows comments made by Simon Harris in the Irish Times, where he says a ‘significant number’ of people in emergency accommodation ‘don’t have a housing right’ here.
Sinn Féin, Labour and the Social Democrats are among opposition parties to have called for the remarks to be withdrawn.
