20,000 in Donegal paid into auto-enrollment during January

20,000 people in Donegal started paying into the national auto-enrollment pension scheme during January.

These figures were revealed in a Parliamentary Question to Dublin South-Central TD, Catherine Ardagh.

The auto-enrollment scheme has also seen people across Northern Ireland, with 709 people in Derry and 242 from Tyrone enrolled.

The system automatically signs up eligible employees who do not already have a qualifying pension, are aged between 23 and 60, and earn more than €20,000 per year.
