Letterkenny University Hospital had 48 patients awaiting beds this morning, with 11 of those in the Emergency Department.
This is the second day in a row, according to figures from the INMO.
On Tuesday, the Hospital released a statement saying it was under extreme pressure due to the numbers.
Sligo University Hospital recorded 46 patients without a bed this morning, bringing the north-west total today to 94.
