Fermanagh church vandalised in ‘sectarian hate crime’

A church in County Fermanagh has been vandalised in what police are treating as a sectarian hate crime.

The church in the High Street area of Newtownbutler had paint thrown at one side of the building’s outer walls and windows, and graffiti scrawled inside a room.

Fire extinguishers had been set off inside, and a number of items were smashed to the floor.

The PSNI are appealing for witnesses.
