Recent €1.3 million euro investment in Portaleen Pier has given a boost to the community in Glengad.
That’s according to Cathaoirleach of the Inishowen Municipal District Martin McDermott.
In recent years Glengad, has faced several issues including population decline and the effect of the defective concrete crisis.
Cllr McDermott says, while the recent funding is giving people a lift, he is targeting further projects which he says could cost in the region of €20m:
