
The HSE is being asked to explain its recent €127,000 on a bike shed for University Hospital Kerry.
It holds up to 40 bikes, and is only available to staff.
Health chiefs are to be called before the Dáil Public Accounts Committee to explain the final cost, when options of close to €7,000 were available.
Meanwhile, Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty has questioned the Government about how there was funding for this at a time when hospitals across the country are under pressure.
