A Midlands North West MEP is seeking a meeting with the Health Minister to discuss claims of the use of Brazilian beef in school lunches here.
Ciaran Mullooly says he also plans to discuss the matter with the Food Safety Authority.
Brazillian beef is set to be banned from the EU from September, unless the country complies with European rules on antibiotic use in animals.
Mr. Mullooly says he’s raised the issue at EU level………….
