The prosecution will set out its case in the trial of Jeffrey Donaldson in the north this morning.
The former DUP leader is charged with 18 historic sex offences.
He denies the charges.
His wife, Eleanor, has pleaded not guilty to five charges, including aiding and abetting, and faces a ‘trial of facts’ at the same time.
A jury was sworn in at Newry Crown Court yesterday.
