Police in Derry investigating a period of disorder in the Irish Street area of the city on Friday May 1st, have made an arrest.
A 20-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of intentionally encouraging or assisting a riot.
Following questioning, he has since been released on police bail to allow for further enquiries.
Police are asking anyone with information to make contact with them via 101.
