A man has been arrested by the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit today on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
This follows the discovery of a firearm in the Currynierin area of Derry.
The PSNI say he remains in custody at this time, and police are currently conducting follow-up searches in the area.
