
Micheál Martin’s leadership of Fianna Fail could be under renewed pressure.
A survey of members of the Fianna Fail parliamentary party by the Irish Examiner, found 59 per cent of its respondents would like to see the Taoiseach stand down as leader at the end of Ireland’s EU Presidency in December.
Among those canvassed Jim O’Callaghan and Dara Calleary are the frontrunners to succeed him as party leader.
