The number of housing commencements in Donegal more than tripled in June compared to the previous month.
The figures were published today by the Department of Housing.
The latest figures show 138 homes were commenced during June, up from 41 in May.
That’s also more than double the figure recorded in June of last year, when 64 homes were started.
June also represents the highest monthly total for housing commencements in the county so far this year.
