The Leas-Cathaoirleach of Inishowen Municipal District has praised the work of Carndonagh Community Hospital in its care for older residents.
This follows a strong report from HIQA earlier this week that found the facility fully compliant with regulation.
Cllr Martin McDermott says the staff need great credit for the work they do to make the hospital what it is.
