A carriageway resurfacing scheme on the A5 is set to commence this morning.
The £670,000 scheme involves the asphalt resurfacing of 1.1 kilometres of the Victoria Road, Ballymagorry from 120 metres south of its junction with the Leckpatrick Road to a point 150 metres south of its junction with Lowry’s Lane.
To facilitate the safe delivery of the scheme it will be necessary to implement a lane closure and diversion for southbound traffic on the A5 from today until Friday 14th August between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
During the times of the lane closure a diversionary route will be signed as: B48 Duncastle Road, B49 Berryhill Road and B49 Woodend Road.
