In a whirlwind week for Derry City, the Candystripes recorded an impressive 2-0 win over Sligo Rovers at The Brandywell this evening.
Mark Connolly took charge of his first game after former boss Tiernan Lynch left the club on Wednesday.
Derry missed several chances in the opening period but second-half goals from Barry Cotter and Adam O’Reilly paved the way for a much-needed win.
