Derry City FC have confirmed Niall McGinn, is joining interim manager Mark Connolly’s backroom staff in a coaching capacity.
The former Northern Ireland International who played for Derry will be available to assist with both the first team and the Academy at the Brandywell.
Connolly is in temporary charge following the departure of Tiernan Lynch on Wednesday.
Derry play Sligo Rovers on Friday night looking for a seventh win of the season.
