General Operative

Dorrian Construction are recruiting a General Operative for construction projects across Donegal. Desirable candidates must be reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively as part of a site team.

Role Duties:

• Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction activities.
• Load, unload, move and organise building materials and equipment.
• Carry out general labouring duties, including site preparation and clean-up.
• Operate basic tools and equipment as required.
• Follow all site instructions, risk assessments, and health and safety procedures.
• Wear the required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required by site management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Hold a valid Safe Pass.
• Hold a valid Manual Handling certificate.
• Previous experience in construction or general labouring would be desirable.
• Be physically capable of carrying out manual and demanding site work.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Hold a full driving licence and have to access to transport, which would be desirable.
