Ireland are through to the women’s 4-by-100-metres relay final at the European Aquatics Championships.
Sligo native Mona McSharry, Lottie Cullen, Ellie McCartney and Grace Davison finished seventh overall in the heats in Paris this morning.
Olympic bronze-medallist McSharry, who swims out of Marlin’s Swim Club in Ballyshannon, is also in the 50-metres breaststroke final later and will be aiming to win a third individual medal of the championships after collecting a silver and bronze earlier this week.
