Financial Administrator

Financial Administrator (10hr) – Finn Valley Family Resource Centre, Stranorlar

Donegal Parent and Family Support Service DPFSS is a charity committed to working with children and families across the county on a number of key priorities:

• Improving lives through family led, home based supports
• Delivering strengths based programme interventions to
children and families in need
• Providing information, support and signposting to parents
and children on a 1:1 or group basis.
• Facilitating a child led and quality based childcare service

Financial Administrator (10hrs)

The successful candidate will have:

• Have the last two years experience working with SAGE Accounts.
• At least two years proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, or similar role
• Good knowledge and experience of working in the Community & Voluntary Sector and
  how it operates.
• Experience in meeting conditions of grant funded applications.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
• Good understanding of all bookkeeping procedures
• Good time-management and organisation skills
• Ability to always maintain data confidentiality.
• The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be able to operate flexibly and work within a team environment.
• Accounting Technician Qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable but not essential.
