Works to restore water on Gola Island will begin tomorrow.
That is according to Glenties Cllr Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig who is welcoming the news this afternoon.
Following damage to the undersea pipeline in July last year the island has been without running water from the mainland.
This has caused huge frustration for residents, especially during the summer tourism season.
