IFA hold pre-budget talks with Ministers


The expansion of farm schemes and supports to mitigate the rising costs of production are among the key asks of the IFA for Budget 2027.

An IFA delegation has met with Finance and Public Expenditure Ministers to discuss its pre-Budget submission.

Francie Gorman, President of the Irish Farmers’ Association, says it’s been a very tough year for farmers, with spiralling costs, lower commodity prices and the financial effects of the dry weather conditions:
