Peter Neill Senior was sentenced yesterday at Belfast Crown Court for his role in the supply of controlled drugs in the North West.
The 58-year-old from Coleraine was given an 18-month sentence, with six months to be served in custody and 12 months on licence.
He was sentenced for conspiracy to possess a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.
Mr Neill has been sentenced for his role in an organised crime group operating primarily in the Coleraine area, with links to Derry and Claudy.
He is the tenth man to be sentenced following a lengthy PSNI investigation into the group.
The PSNI says the investigation began following the seizure of cocaine worth more than £400,000 during a targeted operation in County Antrim in November 2015.
Detective Inspector Crothers says Neill Senior was not in the vehicle when it was stopped, but was one of the defendants behind the drug run.
He says Neill Senior, assisted by Peter Neill Junior, planned to take possession of the cocaine in Coleraine for onward supply to other members of the group.
The other nine defendants were sentenced in April and May last year.
