Gardai have renewed an appeal to people to review their security at home after two burglaries in Mountcharles.
On Friday afternoon between noon and 2 o’clock, a window was broken on a side door of a house in Drumkealan, and entry was gained.
A number of rooms within the property were ransacked, and a sum of cash was stolen.
Meanwhile, sometime between 10 o’clock on Thursday night and 12.45 on Saturday afternoon, entry was gained to a property at The Mill, Mountcharles through an open downstairs window,
and a sum of cash was stolen from the house.
In both instances, Gardai in Ballyshannon are anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between those times to come forward.
