A Donegal Senator is calling for the Bereckery Report on the seafood sector to be published.
The report was carried out by the Food Vision Seafood Sector Sub-Group, with €20 million ring-fenced for the sector in Budget 2027 following its recommendations.
However, the details of the findings have not been made public, despite calls from industry representative bodies.
Senator Manus Boyle says the industry is struggling, and without access to the report, it will be difficult to develop an appropriate financial support package……………
