Donegal County Council has advised that Cathedral Square, Castle Street, Letterkenny will be closed from 8am until 4.30pm tomorrow to allow for the installation of a raised table at the crossing below the cathedral, designed to slow traffic.
There will be no access between the cathedral and Main Street during the works, but Church Lane and Ard O’Donnell will remain open.
Works were due to take place today, but have been postponed.
The council says the road will reopen once the work is complete.
