Cavan claimed a third successive Ulster U21 crown on Wednesday night defeating Donegal 0-13 to 1-6 at Brewster Park in Enniskillen.
It could have been a different story had Donegal not missed a few presentable goal scoring opportunities but in the end the Breffini County were full value for what was an historic three in a row.
At half time Cavan lead 0-7 0-2 but had there advantage reduced to three points after Willie Gillespie’s goal.
Patrick Mc Brearty then reduced the deficit to two points but Cavan didn’t panic and went onto win by four scores.
