SDLP MLA Pat Ramsey has presented a petition to the Northern Ireland Assembly opposing the closure of on-site nursery facilities at the University of Ulster’s Magee Campus in Derry.
The Employment and Learning Spokesperson says the proposals from senior management at the University of Ulster would force those who rely on the service out of education.
The petition has been signed by over a thousand people.
