Gweedore has made it on to the longlist in the Irish Times competion ‘The Best Place to Holiday in Ireland’.
It will join 24 other holiday hotspots from around the country; the results will be announced on the 27th May.
Other notable nominees include Derry City, Strandhill in Sligo and the Lakelands in County Fermanagh.
