The next mayor of Derry will be SDLP councillor Martin Reilly.
Mr Reilly was chosen as his party’s nominee in the City Hotel this week. The SDLP are the party next in line to hold the office of mayor.
He will replace current Sinn Fein mayor Kevin Campbell in June.
