Thousands of visitors are expected to descend on Ballyshannon over the next few days for The Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival.
The event starts tonight when a bronze sculpture of Rory Gallagher will be unveiled by the Mayor of Donegal and the Mayor of Cork
Family and friends of the rock legend are expected in the town for the ceremony.
Festival organiser, Cllr Barry O’Neill says the event provides a major tourism boost for the south of the county, and 15 years after Rory Gallagher’s death, it’s appropriate the statue is being unveiled tonight….
