The Mayor of Donegal says he’s confident that Donegal will receive a reasonable allocation for the improvement and maintainance of the county’s regional and local road network this year.
Cllr Ian Mc Garvey is also hopeful the will get some extra funding to help repair roads which sustained flood and strorm damage over the Christmas period.
Transport Minister Leo Varadkar this week announced that 332 million euro is being allocated regional and local roads across the country, and its anticipated councils will be informed of their allocations today.
Mayor Ian Mc Garvey says the minister and his department are well aware of Donegal’s needs…….
